Life can be tough...
Relationships, friendships, and conflict in your home can be a major distraction in your life. Those things can drive you to worry yourself to death. They can be like a fire that's heating up to a temperature you can't control, but what if you're worried about the wrong things?
What if you are making the issue bigger than what it is? What if you're adding lighter fluid to the fire? The fire isn't even touching you, but Satan's tactics have created a disillusionment in your mind. I guarantee you, we all go through trials and tribulations in our lives. Yes, I am too. I want to fix family issues that are hindering our growth. I want a friendship to flourish so that it will be more than a friendship. See, that's the problem right there. I want everything to happen on my watch instead of God's timing. God knows exactly what you need at this moment in your life. God wants what's best for you. People will lead you astray. If we do not acknowledge God in all of our endeavors, we could end up in a place that was never intended for our journey.
I admire Joseph's actions in his time of confusion. Joseph had just found out that the Holy Ghost came upon Mary, and she became pregnant with the Son of the Highest. As far as Joseph knew, Mary was a virgin. He couldn't fathom on his own the supernatural event that had occurred in his wife. Instead of acting belligerent, Joseph pondered on the matter at hand. Joseph could have divorced Mary and gone on with his life, but he decided to wait on the Lord.
Waiting on the Lord can be hard. Trust me, I know, but waiting on the Lord is the best decision to make in any uncomfortable circumstance. God has a plan for you. God has ordained you for a specific calling so that you can touch people's lives. You may not recognize it now, but your time is coming. Don't get weary in well doing. Life can get tough, but the Sword is extremely sharp.
