In DeVon Franklin's Instagram post, Devon writes, "I'm beyond excited to share with you all that I'm working on one of my first TV deals with @CBSTV Studios." Closure is a one-hour drama based on the life of baseball Hall of Famer-turned-funeral home owner Andre Dawson. Closure, written by Samantha Corbin-Miller.


Closure tells the story of baseball Hall of Famer, Andre Dawson, who inherits his uncle's funeral home in an unexpected second chapter of his career, during the tragic and unsolved disappearance of his adult son. Wrecked by his family's loss, he and his three daughters set out on a journey to obtain comfort and closure for their family.

A top-notch studio, known as CBS, teams up with three powerful African-Americans to make the vision come alive. Samantha Corbin-Miller who is a producer and writer of many great pieces of work, like Cold Case (1 episode), The Marshal (1 episode), and The Practice (2 episodes). She is also in pre-production for her TV Series "H-Town". Samantha is a producer and is also known for being co-executive producer for 27 episodes on the TV Series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Corbin-Miller is also credited with writing four episodes of the TV Series "ER".


DeVon Franklin (top picture in collage) is known for his extraordinary producing talent. He produced "The Star", a Christmas movie that tells the story of Jesus's birth, and he also produced the film "Breakthrough". Breakthrough is a film about a 14-year-old boy who drowns in a lake and is on the brink of death, but his faithful mother prays him back to life. DeVon Franklin is an accomplished movie producer and the President & CEO of Franklin Entertainment, an entertainment company.  


The main character of Closure, Andre Dawson (bottom picture in collage). Andre Dawson, also known as "The Hawk", who wore number 8 when he was in the outfield for the Chicago Cubs, had 12 knee surgeries and finished his career in Cooperstown. He was also the second player in baseball history to reach 400 home runs and 300 stolen bases. Dawson was drafted by the Montreal Expos in 1975 and won six straight Gold Glove Awards. Closure seems like it'll be a very interesting watch.
