Trust can be gained through conversations and experiencing life together. My favorite word to use when talking about working together as a team is chemistry. Team chemistry is important because it allows each person to show their talents and flourish. Being a sports fan, former collegiate athlete, and coach. I knew chemistry as something that occurs when playing sports, but I never thought about a group of writers having chemistry. Writing is a talent, but to become the best at what you do, you must practice. As I listened to the full episode of "In Proximity" with Sev Ohanian and Aneesh Chaganty, I felt like I was a part of their writing process. Teamwork in the writing room creates synergy.

"Searching" and "Missing" are two films that Sev and Aneesh collaborated on. These two writers do outlines for their scripts, research, and put their script through the "fire" to create pure gold. I've had people tell me, "Don't do too much research." I would consider doing research for writing because writing a movie that you do not know about is like giving your opinion on a topic that you're clueless about.

It may be good, but where's the truth, authenticity, and experience? I would consider keeping those three components in mind when writing a script. Truth, authenticity, and experience make you a credible resource. If you want to take your art to new levels, collaborate with your people. Two minds are greater than one. Ecclesiastes chapter four verses nine and 10 say, "two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls, one can help the other, but pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
